Educational Insights creates educational toys that can be used by parents and teachers. Each product is designed by educators that are just right for the jobs, and also parents, because they both know learning must be fun. Educational Insights is located in sunny Southern California. The toys made by Educational Insights are fun for kids to play with, but they all have an educational lesson tied to them. Kids learn without really even knowing they are learning.
Simply Southern Couponers has had the pleasure to work with Educational Insights on our 2013 Holiday Gift Guide. We received the Chet the Cat Yummy Adventure Sets. Chet the Cat invites your kids to come and play along and travel into the make believe world. You will also meet Chet’s friends; Parfait Poodle, Ready Rabbit, and Marv the Parrot. My girls have loved receiving and playing with these sets. They have a little kitchen and they love to play in it, but they hardly had any dishes to use in their kitchens.
The first set we opened was the Chet the Cat and Friends Baking Set. This set included a rolling pin, a mixing , a pie pan, 3 different sized measuring cups, a spoon, a spatula, and a cookie sheet. The baking set has a very neat picture on them, almost like a story. The girls loved looking and seeing what Chet and friends were doing on each piece. Being a mom, I don’t like my girls playing with anything that can come in contact with their mouth and a lot of plastic kitchen play toys are made with plastics which could potentially cause harm. The plastic used in the Chet the Cat Yummy Adventure Sets are made out of food-grade, durable melamine. Which is safe for kids to eat out of as well as can easily go in the dishwasher for a quick clean up. TheChet the Cat and Friends Baking Set is only $21.99.
Next we opened the Chet the Cat and Friends Dish Set. I think this set was our favorite. This 24 piece set includes 4 plates, 4 bowls, 4 cups, 4 forks, 4 spoons, and 4 knives. each plate has a different character on them. The girls loved setting up a “tea party” and they had sweet tea and hot dogs and loved having their own small utensils to use. These plates are very durable and withstand a toddler and being dropped. The price is $29.99 BUT its a wonderful investment that will last a long time while your child can have a pretend party.
The last set we opened was the Chet the Cat and Friends Cooking Set. This 7 piece set comes with a large frying pan, a small frying pan, a pot with a lid, a spoon, a slotted spoon and a spatula. The girls loved pretending that Kaylee was the cook, Aubreigh was the waitress and I got to play the customer. The girls have played non stop with all three sets and it is helping their mind grow while they “imagine”. This set is $21.99.
Chet the Cat also has really cute place mats you can download and use for yours child during their next meal. Head on over here to download and print.
