Do winter blues get you or someone that you love down? I know that for me I wish that all year long can be warm and full of color. Winter is one of those times where I will search for anything to give me a little breath of spring or even summer for that matter. If this is you too then you will love the classic Christmas flower, the Amaryllis. Jackson & Perkins has a Amaryllis and so they are perfect for the colder season.
The bulbs are beautiful from the top all the way to the bottom. I received the Red Lion’! in a natural woven seagrass two-tone basket that will grow into a rich crimson, perfect with symmetrical blooms that stretch up to 10 inches wide. I’ve had it on display for a few weeks now and I’m still awaiting blooms, which I know will come just in time for our Christmas gatherings. It can be displayed anywhere in your home.
Even better is that you don’t even have to water them. These are perfect for those that don’t typically have a green thumb about them. The blooms will emerge within weeks of your flower arriving. All there is to it is finding the place that you want it in your home and then watching it come to life. This is perfect for those that miss their garden in the colder months or simply for anyone that could use a little bit of happy when it comes to the winter blues. The bulb produces two or more stems and each stem can produce up to 4 blooms and will create a magnificent arrangement.
There are other Amaryllis that are available in five different colors that are sure to go with any decor. Choose from red glitter, copper glitter, metallic copper, red snow and metallic gold. This is seriously a gift that only gives since there is no maintenance required. Watching them bloom will bring a smile to your face and a warmth to your space. You may want to get more than one because everyone on your list is going to love it!
